About Us
Perched at 8,700 feet above sea level in beautiful Conifer, Colorado, our gated mountain retreat offers the perfect blend of serenity and convenience. We’re ideally located near wedding venues in Evergreen, Conifer, Pine, Bailey, and Idaho Springs, with easy access to Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Pike National Forest, and several stunning Colorado state parks.
Adventure truly begins at your doorstep. Our small mountain community offers hiking, world-class fishing, mountain biking, cross-country and downhill skiing, backcountry skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, horseback riding, and so much more.
Prefer city amenities? Southwest Denver is just a scenic 25-minute drive away!
Our Homes
Each of our guest houses features breathtaking views of snowcapped Pikes Peak — both indoors and out. Fully furnished and thoughtfully appointed, our lodgings require nothing more than you and your suitcase. Every home includes a full kitchen and private deck, and select properties offer private hot tubs.
Whether you’re enjoying family time, sharing a quiet evening by the fire pit, relaxing with your favorite drink, or cozying up to an indoor fireplace after a day of mountain adventure, your stay will be unforgettable. Wildlife and birdwatching abound across our beautiful acreage, adding to the magic of your experience.

Hot Tub
The 4-person outdoor hot tub offers spectacular views of Pikes Peak and is accessible year-round. Relax with a favorite drink while enjoying the abundant wildlife and taking in the serene, private surroundings, including rolling meadows and mountain peaks.
Private Deck, Firepit, and Sky Swings
Step out onto the spacious deck, accessible from the kitchen, and soak in the mountain scenery. The deck is equipped with a propane grill and BBQ utensils, a large glass-top table, and rattan furniture with plush cushions and cozy blankets—perfect for dining, lounging, or watching stunning sunsets. The large firepit comfortably seats 8–10 guests (when no fire bans are in effect) and comes with marshmallow and s’mores roasting utensils. Firewood is conveniently stored under the deck. Two sky swings provide a unique spot to relax, watch wildlife, and enjoy the panoramic views of Pikes Peak.
Bedrooms
Mountain Haven has three bedrooms, each furnished with a queen bed featuring Zinus Green Tea memory foam mattresses—fiberglass-free with medium-firm support and zoned pressure relief. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and a Roku TV for streaming (log in with your own accounts). All bedrooms include a small work desk and ample closet space. For a 7th guest, a complimentary twin air mattress with extra linens is available, best placed in the living room.
Bathrooms
The home has two full bathrooms. The master ensuite offers dual sinks and a shower, while the second bathroom features a tub and single sink, accessible from the hallway. Both bathrooms are stocked with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and face and body wash.
Fully Equipped Kitchen
The kitchen is fully stocked for any culinary adventure, including a microwave, toaster oven, blender, stovetop, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, and coffee maker. You’ll find dishes, utensils, pots and pans, and Corningware ready for use. A Keurig coffee maker is provided with complimentary K-cups, plus a coffee grinder and reusable cup for ground beans. Guests can also enjoy complimentary snacks such as soup, nut bars, and fruit snacks. A variety of spices and basic condiments are provided, and a two-seat island opens into the living area for casual meals.
Living and Dining Areas
The open-concept living room provides stunning views of Pikes Peak and shares a double-sided wood-burning fireplace with the dining room. The dining room comfortably seats ten and offers an equally impressive view of the mountains. The living room features a Roku TV (log in with your own accounts), a DVD player with HDMI cable, and a selection of DVDs. Firewood for the fireplaces is stored under the deck.
Office and Wi-Fi
A dedicated office space includes a large desk, a printer/scanner, and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the house. A wood-burning stove in the office can also help heat two of the bedrooms.
Fireplaces and Heating
In addition to the double-sided fireplace in the living and dining rooms, the office stove provide extra warmth. The home has both AC and heat, with the thermostat located in the hallway between the bedrooms.
Laundry
A full washer and dryer are available on the lower level of the house for your convenience.
AC & Heat
Mountain Haven’s thermostat can be found on the wall in the hallway between the bedrooms. The guesthouse has both AC and heat.

Bathroom Amenities
Guests will find everything they need for comfort and convenience, including a bathtub, hot water, hair dryer, and cleaning products. Complimentary toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel are provided for a hassle-free stay.
Bedroom and Laundry
The home features a washer and free in-unit dryer, along with bed linens, an iron, and ample clothing storage with closets, wardrobes, and dressers. Families will appreciate the included pack ’n play/travel crib.
Entertainment
The property includes a TV and a selection of books and reading materials for quiet evenings indoors. We have Free! Blue Stream TV, Sports & Movies in the living room.
Heating and Cooling
For year-round comfort, the home is equipped with air conditioning, central heating, ceiling fans, and an indoor fireplace and wood stove.
Home Safety
Safety is a priority at Mountain Haven, with exterior security cameras, pathway and driveway cameras with motion-activated lights, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit.
Internet and Office
High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout, and there is a dedicated workspace for remote work or study.
Kitchen and Dining
The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, toaster, blender, and a Keurig coffee machine with coffee provided. Guests will also find cooking basics, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, bowls, chopsticks, plates, cups, baking sheets, and BBQ utensils, including grill tools and skewers. The kitchen opens to a dining area with a table for group meals.
Outdoor Amenities
The property boasts a private, fully fenced backyard with outdoor furniture, a dining area, a BBQ grill, and a fire pit. Guests can enjoy a private hot tub, accessible year-round, and an outdoor kitchen for additional convenience.
Parking and Facilities
Free on-site parking is available for guests, and the property accommodates long-term stays of 28 days or more.

Deb has put a lot of thought into what guests would need in the house, including complimentary coffee kcups :) It is close enough to many area attractions as we went to a concert in Morrison at the Red Rocks which was less than 20 minutes away. It was so thoughtfully put together, I told Deb that I wanted to go home and decorate my house to match! It looked exactly as pictured! She has a booklet of recommendations, which was really helpful. The home was stocked with all the cookware and utensils we needed to save a few bucks and cook there. Super convenient location to run to the store for groceries, too. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfy. Lastly, the view here was phenomenal. Sunrises & sunsets were BEAUTIFUL! We would definitely stay here again!”

Lanai / All-Season Room
The lanai, our all-season room, is a favorite gathering spot and home to the eight-person dining table. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a quiet morning coffee or wind down in the evening. Cozy up in a rocking chair by the fireplace with a good book, play one of the many board or card games provided, and take in beautiful views of Pikes Peak through the windows.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay, including a stovetop, oven, microwave, toaster oven, blender, refrigerator, freezer, and a Keurig coffee maker (with complimentary K-cups). You’ll find dishes, utensils, cookware, Corningware, a variety of spices, and basic condiments stocked in the cabinets and refrigerator. We’ve also provided a few complimentary snacks—such as soup, nut bars, and fruit snacks—for you to enjoy. A two-seat island offers additional seating, and the kitchen opens directly into the living area for easy gathering and conversation.
Outdoors & Deck
Step outside onto the deck to enjoy sweeping views of Pikes Peak and the privacy of our three-acre meadow. The deck features a propane grill with BBQ utensils, as well as roasting sticks for marshmallows and s’mores at the large firepit (available when no fire bans are in place). The firepit area offers seating for 8–10 guests, making it a wonderful spot for evening relaxation. You’ll also find a picnic blanket in the Kids’ Hide-N-Seek room for outdoor adventures.
Laundry
For your convenience, a full-size stacked washer and dryer are located in the master bedroom behind the black farmhouse-style door. Laundry detergent is provided and located on top of the washer.
Hide-N-Seek Room / Kiddie Korner
This sweet little space is designed just for your younger guests. It features cozy beanbag chairs and a cubby stocked with games, toys, a portable DVD player, and DVDs—perfect for quiet playtime or a movie break.
Hallway / AC & Heat
The thermostat for the guesthouse is located on the hallway wall between the two bedrooms. The home is equipped with both air conditioning and heat to keep you comfortable year-round.
Bedrooms
Both bedrooms feature queen beds, dressers, closet space with hangers, and Roku TVs. Guests may log into their preferred streaming apps using their own account information. The master bedroom includes a private ensuite bathroom, while the guest bedroom has access to a full bathroom from both the bedroom and the hallway. The guest bedroom also includes a work desk with convenient outlet access. In addition, the living room offers a double-size sleeper sofa that can accommodate one adult or two small children.
Bathrooms
Each bathroom includes a full shower and bathtub combination. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and face and body wash are provided. We also supply two sets of towels per expected guest for your stay.
Living Room
The living room is a comfortable space to relax, featuring a couch with a pull-out double sleeper (linens and blankets are located in the guest bedroom closet—the bedroom closest to the greenhouse). The Roku TV offers multiple streaming apps; please use your own login credentials to access them. A DVD player and HDMI cable are available in the lanai cubby, along with a selection of DVDs for your enjoyment.
Greenhouse
While our greenhouse is not yet fully planted, it does feature a charming fairy garden terrarium that little ones especially love. Once planting is complete, guests will be welcome to enjoy fresh vegetables and herbs to use in their meals.
